Rezone 7-acre Shiloh Road site from local retail to townhome planned development
View this case on Richardson Zoning Watch (map, hearing notices, CPC status) →
What this is
A public hearing and vote on changing the zoning of a roughly 7-acre parcel on the east side of Shiloh Road, north of E Renner Road, from LR-M(2) Local Retail to a Planned Development that allows RA-1100-M Residential Attached (townhome) uses. A concept plan would be adopted as part of the rezoning.
Why it matters
If approved, this change would allow townhomes to be built on land currently zoned for local retail, affecting the character and density of that neighborhood.
Council action
Motion to approve the request with the amended ordinance as revised to include the elevations in Exhibit and to include Section 2.B.3 related to lots without frontage
