Public hearing on rezoning 2140 Lake Park Blvd. for a 45,000-sq-ft R&D building
The owner of a roughly 7.52-acre property at 2140 Lake Park Boulevard wants to rezone it from Office with Special Conditions to a Planned Development so they can build a 45,000-square-foot research and development building. The council is holding a public hearing to take community input before deciding on the request.
Neighbors near Lake Park Boulevard could see a new mid-sized office/R&D building constructed on currently undeveloped or differently-zoned land if the rezoning is approved.
-
Rezone 10.39 acres at Arapaho Rd. and Grove Rd. under Collins/Arapaho form-based code
The council will hold a public hearing and consider adopting Ordinance No. 4531 to grant a Special Development Plan for 10.39 acres at the southwest corner of E. Arapaho Road and N. Grove Road. The plan would modify the development standards of the Collins/Arapaho Form-Based Code for a site currently zoned as a Planned Development within the Transit-Oriented Development and Innovation Station Area Sub-District.
Changes to development standards near the Arapaho Road transit area could shape what gets built on this 10-acre site and how it fits into the surrounding transit-oriented neighborhood.
-
Rezone 3.06 acres at Polk St. and Texas St. under Main Street form-based code
The council will hold a public hearing and consider adopting Ordinance No. 4530 to grant a Special Development Plan for 3.06 acres at the southeast corner of E. Polk Street and S. Texas Street. The plan would modify development standards within the Main Street/Central Expressway Form-Based Code, Main Street Sub-District.
Adjusted development standards in the heart of Richardson's Main Street corridor could influence the size, design, and use of whatever is built on this downtown-adjacent parcel.
