Adopt Ordinance No. 4472: UTD/Points at Waterview TOD planned development rezoning

Final Zoning Ordinance No. 4472

What this is

Council is asked to adopt Ordinance No. 4472, which would rezone a 35.92-acre tract on the south side of Waterview Parkway — generally east of Frankford Road and bounded on the south by the DART Silver Line — from TO-M Technical Office and PD Planned Development to a new PD Planned Development called the UTD/Points at Waterview-TOD Planned Development District. The ordinance would adopt use and development regulations, a concept plan, street typology cross sections, and an existing structure alternative exhibit.

Why it matters

This large rezoning near the DART Silver Line could significantly shape how land adjacent to UTD is developed, including what buildings, uses, and street layouts are allowed in a transit-oriented area.
