Public hearings
-
Public hearing: rezone Central Expressway hotel to apartments (ZF 22-17)
This public hearing covers two rezoning requests near 2301 N Central Expressway. The first would allow an existing 131-room suite hotel on approximately 5.2 acres to be converted into a 131-unit apartment building. The second would rezone approximately 0.44 acres at the southeast corner of Fall Creek Drive and Collins Boulevard to restrict it to open space only.
Converting the hotel to apartments would add 131 residential units near Central Expressway, which could affect traffic, neighborhood character, and housing supply in that corridor.
