Public hearing and vote on zoning changes near W. Belt Line Road (ZF 25-22)
The council will hold a public hearing and consider an ordinance with two related zoning actions: (1) amending and restating the existing Planned Development rules for a 40.625-acre tract (Tract "A") on the north side of W. Belt Line Road between Dogwood Drive and Holly Drive, which currently has a base zoning of R-1500-M; and (2) rezoning a separate 0.869-acre parcel (Tract "C") on the north side of Holly Drive between Dogwood Drive and Mimosa Drive from R-1100-M to a new Planned Development with a base zoning of R-1100-M.
These zoning changes will set the development rules for roughly 41 acres of residential land near W. Belt Line Road, directly affecting what can be built in that neighborhood.
