Public hearing: rezone 4.4 acres on Arapaho Road for up to 33 homes (ZF 22-05)
A property owner is asking to change the zoning of approximately 4.4 acres on the north side of Arapaho Road, east of West Shore Drive, from O-M Office to a Planned Development based on the R-1100-M residential district. The plan would allow up to 33 single-family residential lots under amended development standards.
Nearby residents and the broader community can comment on whether converting this office-zoned land to a single-family neighborhood fits the character of the area.

Public hearing continued: rezoning ~3.9 acres near Frankford Rd & Waterview Pkwy for 171-unit apartment building
This is a continued public hearing (from June 13, 2022) on a request to rezone roughly 3.9 acres northwest of Frankford Road and Waterview Parkway, south of President George Bush Turnpike. The applicant wants to change the zoning from Planned Development and Technical Office to a Planned Development for the A-950-M Apartment District, with modified development standards and a concept plan for a 5-story apartment building with up to 171 units accommodating 529 beds.
Approval would allow a large multi-story apartment complex with student-style occupancy near the PGBT corridor, affecting traffic, density, and the character of that area.
