Public hearings
-
Rezone 8.9 acres at Research Drive and Telecom Parkway for industrial use with updated standards
Council will hold a public hearing and consider adopting Ordinance No. 4371 to rezone approximately 8.9 acres at the southwest corner of Research Drive and Telecom Parkway. The change keeps the property as a Planned Development for Industrial use with a Special Permit for Heavy Manufacturing but updates the development standards and approves a revised concept plan.
The revised development standards and concept plan will govern how the industrial site at this location can be built out, affecting neighboring businesses and residents near the Telecom corridor.
Action items
-
Variance to allow angled lot lines for a townhome development at Renner Road and Red Moon Way
A developer is asking for a variance from the Subdivision and Development Code (Chapter 21) that normally requires side lot lines to be perpendicular or radial to street lines. The variance would allow non-standard lot angles needed to build a single-family attached (townhome) development at the northeast corner of Renner Road and Red Moon Way.
Approval would allow a townhome development to move forward at this corner; denial would require the developer to redesign the lot layout to meet standard rules.
