Zoning File 22-06 requests approval of a special development plan for a 7.1-acre lot at 300 N. Central Expressway to allow an existing new car sales and leasing business to expand. The property is currently zoned Main Street/Central Expressway PD Planned Development (Interurban Sub-District).
Residents near Central Expressway between Greer and Jackson Streets would see a larger auto dealership operation at this location.

Public hearing on rezoning near Frankford Road and Waterview Parkway for a 171-unit apartment building
Zoning File 22-07 requests rezoning of approximately 3.9 acres northwest of Frankford Road and Waterview Parkway, south of President George Bush Turnpike, from PD Planned Development and TO-M Technical Office to PD Planned Development for the A-950-M Apartment District. The concept plan calls for a 5-story apartment building with up to 171 units accommodating 529 beds.
If approved, this would add a large multi-family residential building with hundreds of beds to a currently office/commercial-zoned site near the Bush Turnpike.

Ordinance No. 4430 would rezone 1.04 acres at the northeast corner of Abrams Road and E. Buckingham Road from 'R' Retail to PD Planned Development for the LR-M(1) Local Retail District. It would also grant a special permit for a smoking establishment on an outdoor patio connected to a restaurant at that location.
Nearby residents could be affected by the change in land use and the permitted outdoor smoking area at this corner.
