Public hearings
-
Public hearing: rezone 5.43 acres at Glenville Drive and Greenville Avenue for two suite hotels (ZF 22-15)
A property owner is requesting to rezone about 5.43 acres at the northwest corner of Glenville Drive and Greenville Avenue from industrial zoning to a Planned Development that would allow modified industrial development standards, plus a special permit for a new 5-story limited-service suite hotel alongside an existing 4-story limited-service suite hotel.
Approving this rezoning and special permit would allow two hotels on land currently zoned for industrial use, changing the character of that corner.
-
Public hearing: amend special permit for golf driving range and outdoor nursery at 3570 Waterview Parkway (ZF 22-16)
The owner of the roughly 31-acre property at 3570 Waterview Parkway (southeast corner of Waterview Parkway and Renner Road) is asking to amend an existing special permit, Ordinance 3684, to allow modifications to an existing golf driving range, golf-related activities, and a commercial outdoor nursery on land zoned LR-M(1) Local Retail with Special Conditions.
The amendment would change what activities are permitted on this large site near the Renner Road corridor.
Action items
-
Ordinance: grant special permit for a drive-through restaurant at 1230 E. Belt Line Road
Council will consider adopting Ordinance No. 4445 to grant a special permit allowing a restaurant with drive-through service at 1230 E. Belt Line Road, a property currently zoned LR-M(2) Local Retail.
Approving the special permit would allow a drive-through restaurant at this Belt Line Road location.
