Rezone 1140 W. Campbell Road to allow a private school and childcare center
Ordinance No. 4450 would rezone approximately 1.2 acres at 1140 W. Campbell Road from O-M Office with Special Conditions to a Planned Development, adding amended development standards to permit a private school and childcare center use.
This would allow a private school and childcare center to operate at a site currently zoned for office use.

Rezone 4.36 acres on Arapaho Road for residential planned development
Ordinance No. 4451 would rezone a 4.36-acre tract on the north side of Arapaho Road, east of West Shore Drive, from O-M Office to a Planned Development for the R-1100-M Residential District, including a concept plan and fencing exhibit.
Converting this land from office to residential zoning could add new housing near Arapaho Road.

Council will authorize a purchase order to GT Distributors, Inc. for equipment for police vehicles through BuyBoard Contract #698-23 in the amount of $231,564.79.

Purchase and install playground equipment at Berkner Park for $292,496
Council will authorize a purchase order to Child's Play, Inc. for the cooperative purchase and installation of playground equipment at Berkner Park through BuyBoard Contract #679-22 in the amount of $292,496.
New playground equipment at Berkner Park will improve recreational facilities for residents who use the park.

Public hearing: outdoor amenities added to West Spring Valley Corridor planned development
A property owner is asking to modify the existing West Spring Valley Corridor Planned Development standards to allow outdoor amenities on an approximately 37-acre non-conforming property on the east side of Coit Road, north of Spring Valley Road.
The change could alter the type and scale of outdoor features allowed at this large non-conforming site near a major corridor.

Public hearing: special permit for private university at 1301 W. President George Bush Highway
An applicant is requesting a special permit to operate a private university within an existing building on a 10.34-acre lot zoned TO-M Technical Office, located at 1301 W. President George Bush Highway.
Approval would allow a private university to operate at this location, bringing a new educational use to an office-zoned property.
