Public hearings
-
Public hearing: special permit for indoor virtual golf simulator at 1002 N. Central Expressway
A business is seeking permission to operate an indoor virtual golf simulator in an existing suite space in the Collins/Arapaho Transit-Oriented Development district at 1002 N. Central Expressway, on an 8.1-acre lot at the northeast corner of Central Expressway and Arapaho Road.
Approval would allow a new entertainment use in the TOD district, which could bring activity and spending to that corridor.
-
Public hearing: special development plan for car sales/leasing near Arapaho Road and Greenville Avenue
A request to allow motor vehicle sales and leasing on a 4.43-acre site at the northeast corner of Arapaho Road and Greenville Avenue, which is currently zoned under the Collins Arapaho Form Based Code (Station Area Sub-District).
Permitting auto sales in a form-based, transit-oriented zone is a significant land-use question that could affect the character of development near the Arapaho DART station.
-
Public hearing: PD amendment for master sign plan at Central Expressway and E. Campbell Road
A property owner at the southeast corner of Central Expressway and E. Campbell Road is requesting an amendment to the existing Planned Development district on 14.87 acres to establish a master sign plan governing signage on the site.
