Council would adopt Ordinance No. 4474 to approve a special permit allowing an event center at 1801 N. Plano Road, a property zoned as part of the Collins/Arapaho Transit-Oriented Development & Innovation District Form-Based Code (Employment Sub-District).
An event center would bring new activity to the Collins/Arapaho TOD corridor, which could affect nearby residents and businesses.

A property owner is asking the city to update the planned development rules for roughly 3.4 acres at 524 and 528 Centennial Boulevard (south side of Centennial, west of Audelia Road) and to approve a special permit allowing a carwash on the site. The current and proposed zoning are both Planned Development for Office/Commercial, but with a revised concept plan.
Neighbors near Centennial Boulevard and Audelia Road could see a carwash built on this site if the permit is approved.
