Adopt standards of care for Parks and Recreation early child development programs

The owner of the roughly 63,000-square-foot building at 1300 E. Belt Line Road is requesting Variance No. 24-01 to reduce the required parking by 31 spaces in order to accommodate an 11,647-square-foot retail use inside the building. The property is on the south side of Belt Line Road, west of Plano Road.
If approved, the building would have fewer parking spaces than city code normally requires, which could affect traffic and parking availability for nearby residents and businesses.
